Natasha Jonas vs Mikaela Mayer live stream: How to watch fight online and on TV this weekend
Jonas defends the IBF welterweight title in her hometown of Liverpool
Natasha Jonas will defend the IBF welterweight title against Mikaela Mayer this weekend, as the champion steps out in front of a hometown crowd in Liverpool.
Jonas, 39, is an Olympic veteran and two-weight world champion, having secured welterweight gold in 2023 after unifying three belts at super-welterweight in 2022.
And Mayer, 33, is a distinguished boxer in her own right, having reigned as unified super-welterweight champion until her narrow loss to Alycia Baumgardner in 2022.
The American then moved up in weight to win an interim title at lightweight in 2023, before fighting once at super-lightweight. Now she moves up again to challenge Jonas in enemy territory.
